POWERFEST continues to crown champions from all four corners of the planet and Team partypoker members are getting closer and closer to securing a coveted title.

Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell and Jordan “The Undecided” Drummond are the latest stars to almost bank a top prize. Let’s check out what their near misses were.

POWERFEST #91-SHR: $500K Gtd 8-Max

POWERFEST #91-SHR was a $500,000 guaranteed 8-Max No-Limit Hold’em tournament that saw 105 players each pay $5,200. Those 105 entrants created a $525,000 prize pool with almost $130,000 reserved for the eventual champion.

Each of the eight finalists padded their partypoker bankrolls with more than $17,000.

“fromHolland1945” continued their recent good form with an eighth-place finish worth $17,062. “BURNINGMANRILES” and “iRunStims” were the next bustees. They banked $21,000 and $26,250 respectively.

“LittleRussia” won an event a couple of days ago but couldn’t quite get the job done this time around. They had to make do with the still ample $34,125 fifth-place prize.

Then it was game over for our very own Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell. The Canadian superstar would have made a popular champion, but it wasn’t meant to be. Bicknell busted in fourth-place and received $45,937.

Any of the final trio of players could have won this event. Each of them are extremely talented grinders and regulars in our high stakes tournaments. The waters became less shark-infested with the exit of “CalmDownMan” in third-place, a finish worth $65,625.

This left recent POWERFEST champion “SpanishFly” and “EmpireMaker” to battle it out for the lion’s share of the prize pool. It was the latter who is now eating like a king as they emerged from the one-on-one fight unscathed. They also emerged clutching the massive $128,625 top prize. Our runner-up scooped $91,875.

POWERFEST #79A-H: $150K Gtd 6-Max PKO

It’s only a couple of weeks since Team Online’s newest member Jordan “The Undecided” Drummond shipped the partypoker Big Game for $141,000 while streaming on Twitch. He almost repeated the feat in the POWERFEST #79A-H: $150K Gtd 6-Max PKO.

Drummond was one of 653 players in the $320 buy-in event and he was still at the table right at the death.

The tournament specialist found himself heads-up against “el7ORO7el” and looking at potential $30,000 prize. Lady Luck wasn’t on his side, however, and he lost his stack to his final rival, meaning he had to make do with second-place this time around. This netted Drummond $13,728 from the main prize pool and an additional $3,246 worth of bounties.

Our champion won a similar $13,748 from the main prize pool but a huge $16,177 worth of scalps along the way.

POWERFEST #92-HR: $300K Gtd 8-Max PKO

Not content with her near $46,000 prize earlier in the day, Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell was in the hunt for the POWERFEST #92-HR: $300K Gtd 8-Max PKO title. Just as another final table appearance looked on the cards, Bicknell fell by the wayside and crashed out in 11th place. Bicknell reeled in a combined prize that weighed in at $5,975.

Bicknell had been busy busting opponents during her latest deep run because she actually walked away with more prize money than “RemoveCard” who finished three places deeper!

All the other finalists won a five-figure prize, with bounties included of course. It was a star-studded final table, the home to several players who had already notched POWERFEST final table appearances.

The likes of “No_No_No”, “CocaineKiller”, “fromHolland1945” and Swedish legend “Greenstone25” all busted. Greenstone went the deepest of those elite players, busting in third for a combined $22,631.

“SuperNutz” and “kristian150” fought it out for the title. The bounty payments by this stage were massive so the clash was explosive, to say the least. When the dust had settled, kristian150 was the last players standing and they walked away with $65,110. Second-place saw SuperNutz claim $42,768 of the $300,000 prize pool.
